The Book of Life : The Theory of Everything: Paul Zecos
From Global warming to political, social and religious issues author Paul Zecos covers them all and much more. In order to relate and share what he has written I have to state that I am presenting the views thoughts and ideas related by the author to you, the reader. I will not present my opinion or state whether I agree or disagree with these viewpoints. Where I find any issue especially relevant and where I feel you, the reader will learn something special from this specific point; I will state that within the body of this review.
Beginning with Chapter One the author asks the reader to think about this question: “What is the most important decision and choice that I or you have to make in life and why?” Interesting and thought provoking. He continues by asking several more questions within page 7 related to the central choice in life and his definition. He eloquently states the difference between living forever versus surviving in fear and loneliness to exhaustion and death is immense. At the bottom of this page he continues by saying “ Life (eternal) vs. living and dying is the central and most important choice for each of us to make while alive because it determines not just all your other choices but also the Life or death of you and your children. The final statement about living in God’s Kingdom of Love sums it up at the end of this page.
Definitions are often subjective when left to an individual to interpret the meaning of a specific word or concept. The author discusses the Kingdom of God, what is love, in Chapter Two. Within this chapter he defines love in many different ways using nouns, verbs and adjectives to illuminate the reader and clarify the meaning of a very powerful four-letter word LOVE. Within these definitions we hear the author’s voice as he explains why love is righteous, love is kind and even enlightens. Love is Holy, Love is merciful, and FORGIVES. Love is hopeful and inspires I really like this definition. Love is wise, faithful and endures. His explanations are quite lengthy and you will understand them as he clarifies and gives many examples to help readers along the path to understanding the true meaning of this word. Chapter three focuses on The Resurrection of the Dead. He states that the dead are resurrected, as you become Aware and conscious of them. He questions each reader to decide for himself if they will allow, the dead to live in peace and safely on earth. Are there any dead that you know that were not resurrected? He continues with the many reasons he feels that The World is Wrong and one point that I will highlight that we can all learn from is: The world is wrong because people misunderstand what righteousness is: What right must be, to be right. Interesting!
He points out why the world is wrong and sinful and asks the reader to reflect on what we see on the news. He adds points about our political structure and that of other countries which I will not comment on but will ask the reader to read pages 19- 22.
Chapter Five focuses on developing a Constitution for the Lands of God stating on page 27 that the purpose of this governments in God’s land is to help remove the obstacles-fears, selfishness, greed-that inhibit people from loving others truly, so while keeping the 11commandments in mind and he elaborates more within statement and continues on pages 28-29.
Chapter 6 focuses on how and why Love is Free and Liberates and continues within the chapter to discuss when we are truly free stating that “creation, humanity is only as free as the truth about self that one can handle, admit to in honest remorse and change.” Quite a provoking and compelling statement and he adds that being free to choose among evils, as you have to do now is not being truly free. Read pages 35- 36 to learn more.
There are many lessons that the author relates that everyone can learn from but I am going to focus on just a few more. Chapter 7 asks you to decide what is the best for the world and chapter 8 follows which is titled: I am at war. He once again includes the author’s views on the way you and others view God, life, eternity, our government and how we live. He also includes his thoughts on the establishment of a sovereign, independent, kingdom of love on earth through independent, demilitarized, disarmed, anti-violent, sovereign lands for those who voluntarily choose to live by love and mercy which is the only way we will succeed. In other words if you choose to live by love and mercy and not by succumbing to the power of money, power, force, judgments by appearance and justice as most do in this world you will succeed. He continues on Chapter 11 with how to be your best and the next three I will let the reader learn on their own. Chapter 15 Truth through Fiction he relates it to fictional characters and why some feel fiction is attractive to those people who try to escape the truth using entertainment provided by the entertainment industry. He elaborates much more in this chapter and includes information and letters to the United Nations Security Council which I will not comment on and he directs comments to educators which as an educator I cannot agree with all that he states. Healthcare, government, political philosophies and other controversial issues are included in Chapter 16. Chapter 17 sums it all up and I will elaborate on certain points: He discerns the differences in meanings of the fictitious story and the more extreme the paths of positives are pursued the more righteous one is. He also includes the Non-fiction story and discusses the physics and Psychology Theory of Everything within pages 185- 202. Some of the points you might want to hone in on are: The Eternal Truths of Truth: Faith in God, faithfulness in loving, honesty, fear of God, endurance, understanding and just justice. He includes the self-evident truths, which are continued on the top of page 192, as what he states are our inalienable rights, which are endowed to us by our Creator. He continues to summarize the major points in a clear and concise way for readers. On page 204 he asks the reader one final question with several choices. You decide on your own your response. There are many messages directed to politicians, leaders and educators. He even includes as I stated before a letter to the United Nations Security Council where he presents his solutions to current issues and why nothing can happen until separation occurs. He also includes the 7 spirits of the Holy Spirit taught at each level and how to learn them. He states his philosophy, change and reactions to change and powerful statements about many religions, which are quite controversial. Some of the information within these chapters will definitely bring on some hot and heated debates.
From religious viewpoints, to the government, education and much more author Paul A. Zecos asks each person and individual to asses themselves, their views on God, eternity, life and accomplishing what you want in life by turning negatives into positives and realizing that the method is the same whether the focus is on one person, a relationship, a spouse, child or business partner. In order to achieve what you want you must decide on what you truly believe as you the reader must decide that for yourself. Definitions are powerful and words have strong meanings. There are many definitions, concepts, thoughts and ideas defined within the pages of this book. At times the author speaks gently to you the reader and at other times he speaks in a much louder voice hoping to make his point making sure you hear his words and listen to his thoughts. This is one thought provoking book that deals with many current issues.
