Credara: my review

Credara: J.E. Henderson

Behind closed doors within our very own world live those that would choose to destroy what we have created. Living side by side with us and infiltrating our businesses, homes and families are some that are so evil and vile – just waiting to let their presence be known. Lucifer has met his fate as Archangels Michael and Gabriel send him deep within the bowels of the earth, straight to Hell for defying God’s will. But another of Lucifer’s horde refuses to succumb and will learn his lesson, as will the others, as he too is transformed into something to be henceforth known as “The Kraylen”. Their leader now deformed, demonic and minus a left hand, it is horrific to see these non-humans have one power that was either overlooked or even worse, given for a reason. They can change their form and easily assimilate with humans. As a result, they can marry them, have families and create half-breeds filled with evil and hate – the human half of the family to be immediately killed should they somehow discover a Kraylen’s true identity.

The Great War in Heaven is over and Lucifer is paying for his sins. But the Kraylen and their new leader are just lying in wait. How can this occur? What powerful thing can unlock the door to Hell? The Credara. A special ornate heavenly urn, the Credara is not only the key to unlocking hell, but also the key to keeping it locked and it is hidden right here on earth.

The story unfolds in many different directions as Agean, our hero, learns the truth behind his past, sets out to do God’s work and to prevent what Licronus has in store for the world. Learning the truth ignites anger, hatred and vengeance within the heart of this young man just as the death of the only person close to him appears imminent. As we enter the domain of the Kraylen and learn the fate of the Angel of Death we find out that those that are mortally wounded, terminally ill or otherwise at Death’s door will never pass through. They will suffer beyond belief until the Angel of Death is rescued. And added to this, God’s path leads our hero to his destiny of crushing the Kraylen uprising.

A deadly battle at the local pub, The Dancing Swine, enlightens Agean, and sets in motion events that will create great conflict in his mind as he is faced with deciding his path – whether he is willing to take on the Godly role he has been given. A heavenly hawk named Flittorin guides his way he seeks out the Hamen Warriors of God’s Army, the Angel of Death, and Lucifer’s Lair, all while trying to stop what has been set in motion, and facing the fiercest enemy they have ever known. Good vs. Evil. Which will win out? Can either one survive?

Traveling to strange and distant lands, Agean gathers an army that only God could provide – one both destined and able to fight this apocalyptic battle. Meeting with the Great Council, learning more about the Credara and having it in his possession should provide Agean the power he needs to complete God’s task. The Council Chamber is quiet as Agean has chosen his path. He now has to set out and find the Godly warriors that are
indeed God’s Army.

Join Agean as he takes his many journeys; geographical, emotional and spiritual in nature. Learn the history behind the loyal hawk, visit the small town of Krinn and meet Quilin and Naran. Battle lines are drawn, disloyalties noted and trusts betrayed. But what happens to bind them together provides some heart stopping moments within the book’s chapters as chosen warriors form a special alliance to fight and destroy the Kraylen. Meet Master Gajir, the wise Master, and learn the power of his Hamen Staff and other Godly weapons. Feel the adventure as Master Istya, a tough and mighty lady warrior is found just as the tension of battle builds. Some of the dangerous situations will make your heart palpitate. The tension instilled in the characters as they face their greatest fears, is paralleled by the battles and the desperate need to hold on to the Credara drives some of the tense moments the author creates in this plot.

When evil and good face each other, what happens? You just won’t believe it as Licronus gains possession of the Credara. But Agean and his army have their own surprises in store for Lucifer’s demon General. Credara has enduring plot twists that will keep you guessing until the last sword is sheathed in place and the revelation of just how to stop what has been started is revealed. Where will the Angel of Death wind up? Who lives and who sacrifices their lives for the Holy Order? What is their destiny? What will happen if the Angel is freed? Will every wrong be righted? Read this outstanding novel and find out just how far one young man will go to prevent the greatest evil from being set loose upon mankind? The Mark of Hamen; The Arc-Pen Symbol; The Credara. Whose face will be the newest on the Court Of Seven? Whose spirit will join the Sitcian Council? Whose death was finally avenged? Where is Licronus? Will Lucifer rise and be freed? The Credaras: one given to Fitaris, the first Sitcian; a second placed in Quintana; the third you will have to read and learn for yourself as the story races on and final battle has yet to be fought.

Memories flood back into Agean’s mind as he learns more about his parents, their fate, and then relives all that happened to him; all within the pages of this novel – all during his journey to rid the world of the Kraylen and
their evil. What exactly were the Kraylen really after and why? You won’t believe what they reveal and what might change it all as we learn just what Licronus was really after. An ending so startling and unexpected that author J E Henderson reminds readers that sometimes what appears in front of us is not always so. One extraordinary novel filled with characters with both human and demonic traits clearly depicted, and a storyline so vividly told. The Credara Trilogy book one – Credara: Rise of the Kraylen. What’s Next?

Great for teens to learn responsibility, trust, honor and for discussion groups to help decide what they think of Agean and the other younger characters as they grow and change throughout the
novel.

“Let’s give this book  FIVE GOLDEN CREDARA TO USE IN THEIR NEXT BATTLE!”
