A Powerful Issue: Water Entanglement

Water Entanglement: Claudiu Murgan

A hot day, sitting in the sun for a long time, a long walk, jogging to stay in shape or wanting a hot cup of coffee, tea of a cappuccino to feel energized or refreshed in the morning. What is the constant that you need: WATER? Water is precious, and we all need it every single day whether for our favorite morning drink washing your face, hands or taking a shower in the morning before heading out for the day or shopping, water is the one staple we all need. But what would happen if there was a shortage, if your morning drink could not be the large one you usually ordered, or the water in your tap just trickles out and the showerhead does not have much force? What would we do then?

When an explosion during the Water for All conference shatters many lives, Cherry recalls what happened, how she was hit and hurt while so many others were killed and the past reflects the present as humans abused water in so many ways and the history of why she feels water has memory, remembers every deed and more are explained in detail The year is 2055 and the events might considered sci-fiction but the attack is more like the present. Does water possess a memory? Could it in some way have consciousness? Is it endangered and is our environment and humans destructive and injuring our lifeforms?

The author leads us to a married couple one who is a surgeon and the other who runs a company that sells bottled water as we learn the secrets behind her research, what animals were injected with the crystals, that water seems to have memory and has feelings and the science behind her thoughts. What comes through throughout the novel is that people have abused the earth’s resources and air and water are polluted but where are the laws in this time period to protect that from happening. There are many species encountered and learned about but there are many who cannot survive. Interesting to think that some of our resources can fight back at us for abusing their importance. Of course, as you hear those that are part of Water for All and their dedication to the cause you do realize that profit, money, power and greed might not come as the primary reason, but it does come through. Will anyone ever not think money first and worry about people and different methods to preserve our water?

Water memory is at the heart of this novel and the author relates how Cherry is determined to prove this fact. Water memory is said to be the ability of water to retain a memory or substances previously dissolved in it even after an arbitrary number of serial dilutions. Water memory defies conventional scientific understanding of physical chemistry knowledge and there is much debate and some in the scientific community do not accept it. Cherry and her researchers allow readers to understand the problems they are facing dealing with making sure that water supplies are received and yet there are countries that have put limitations on water, others that will not allow water to be sent to certain places and she realizes that some water might be tainted. She also realizes that the healer that did his procedure over the Kahuna tried to have his brain revived but it lasted only for a short time and the surgeon in the end will be the ultimate one to hopefully bring him back to life but that remains to be seen.

She also discusses whether water has consciousness and some studies have shown that water, not only has memory but its structure is affected by the emotions of people. Which if elaborated means that the water molecules change their position when they interact with positive or negative emotions. The structure of water is more vital and important than its composition.

Water is being rationed all over the world and some places need to create water that might not be as potent in order to have enough in reserve. While Cherry and her team create and set up their new lab and hope to get the blood samples needed from someone who the surgeon would contact in order to get this in motion. Illanda the surgeon approached the man who was considered to have a handle on what she needed and was her competition to come and work with and the team at Water for All.

Cherry has a secret identity and uses it to relate information about Water for All. No one know that she is really the voice behind Hayyin and delivers important information to the public while someone else is hiding his identity and his agenda in opposition to hers.

Cherry the limnologist heads the program to prove that water has memory and along the way we learn about her hurdles, obstacles and her hopes to join forces with Illanda as a call from her husband’s lawyer changes it all. Maahes Mazandir is her husband who has his own agenda in mind and whether the truth is being told will be left up to the reader to uncover. He was the CEO of Vivus Water Inc, the third largest bottling company on the planet and the result about where his body would wind up will shock readers as the law did not side with his wife and for some reason Egypt where he died, had ownership. Information about the will and the fact that his relatives were left money and Water for All part of it and the amount might set off some red flags with his wife.  Something happens and there is a turbulence in the air and planes are falling from the sky and more CEO’s are killed. As Cherry speaks with her students, she learns more about the effects of water entanglement and the effects on water, the quality of the water and the result might be that water might taste and have the same consistency as molasses. Imagine no more water the way we know it. Chips in your hand or other parts of your body to determine how much water or other rations you are still entitled and how to pay for something as simple as a cab ride. What is the final revelation and where will the world be at the end when all the facts are revealed? You need to read Water Entanglement to find out the answers for yourself. Remember: Cherish those drops of water, ice water and the water from your tap because you never know what the future might bring when the world experiences 2055.

The revelations at the end are startling as Cherry sends off a resolution with valid points to the UN to be considered by the President and other officials. Added in we have the procedures they hope will bring Kahuna back to himself but that is held in secret for now and the wonders of what happened you need to learn for yourself. The resolution was brought to the forefront at this meeting and the answers and responses will come in time as they see whether those involved will focus on understanding what is happening to water, the quality and the fact that in some places it tastes and feels like honey causing side effects that need to be addressed. Read and hear what Romana Pilb, the president of UN Water states and hear her voice and recommendations. There is an intimate relationship between water and crystals that has been discussed in Chapter 18. This chapter will outline what they hope will enhance and save the water which the author ends with a powerful statement: There needs to be a common language with water. How remains to be Cherry states that we need to communicate with water and an encoded message will be sent and hopefully water entanglement will do the rest.

Interesting concepts, an issue that is relevant and the research stated within this novel you need to decide for yourself your positions and viewpoints. Water is vital to our daily lives: Respect it always.
