There are memories that unfold within every picture that I have. The smiles, the tears the love within each frame will always be there. Pictures are timeless. Life creates its own album for each person and the pictures that are within your album are the ones that you yourself create every single day. Whether they depict the good or bad in your life is really up to you as you are the orchestrator, facilitator, and choreographer who carefully and skillfully plans the events each day as you and everyone else watch them unfold. Albums are amazing and spark both old and new memories of the fun times you had with both family and friend. But, sometimes these memories are hard to look at, the person within some of those frames or pictures left abruptly, without warning and the thoughts that unveil within your mind bring doubt, discord and sadness. As most people reflect today on this special Sunday devoted to fathers, sons, brothers and grandparents, remember the love, the fun, the joy and the hope that you see reflected within the smile and eyes of each person whether they are here or have left this world for a better place. My Dad was quite a character to say the least. He always had a way of solving every problem but you just really never knew how. The difficulty of the situation did not matter it managed to figure out how to make the end result positive. Magic or just plain ingenuity or both I wondered at times. Never ever down. Always living his life on positive note and stressing with each of us my sister, my brother and myself the importance of family loyalty, understanding and love. Never worrying about himself, he always put others first which is something that I learned early on from him. Taught to be there when a family member needs help and put their needs first is something that has stayed with me even now. My sister and brother are my best friends and I miss my sister every day. The album that I have has a precious picture of my mom and dad that I put in my Memories are Precious Book with many others. But, going through a huge box of pictures the memories are so amazing, the family gatherings so vivid, so special and the joy that is so evident within the smiles of each person within the photo reminds of how precious life is and how fast it can end. Spend each day with a smile on your face and understand that life has its own direction for you and following the right path will get you what you want but it might take some time. Learning to work for what I want and need and depending on myself, realizing that being independent and not having to worry about others for my needs is one strong lesson learned early on.
