Primary Termination: Vincent Zandri

Primary Termination: Vincent Zandri

Freedom is something that we all cherish and value. Within our cultural systems throughout the world many people are denied this basic right to live as they please, shop where they want and even work in a free society at the job of their choosing. What happens when the world changes, a corporation buys up all the businesses, publishing companies are no longer in existence, newspapers, televisions and your whole life is owned and controlled by one major corporation and if you dare to defy them or not become part of their world the end result might be you are next to be terminated: Primary Termination is the consequence for daring to step out of line and defy the rules. Rules were made for everyone to follow as we meet Tanya Teal a 42 year old woman whose job as a primary acquisitions editor was phased out and her life became one huge debt making it hard for her to live an independent life and the need to go back home and live with her parents. Humiliated and in need of a solution the answers would come, the solution is there but the result will not be exactly what she hoped for.

The year is 2028 and the corporation called Everest .Com is the catalyst for each and every event that follows as they control everything you buy, the books you can purchase, where you can purchase them, food, medical care, police protection, religious and political affiliations and even scary they monitor your movements and your every thought. The last remaining publishing house in NYC is closed because of the competition from Everest’s com’s Cradle Direct Publishing that has taken over the publishing industry. Her parents welcome her, but they persuade her to join the Everest Primary Program which would wipe out her debts, allow her to have a living salary if he buys only Everest products and no others. Odd events happen as she hears the voice of an AI constantly interrupting her thoughts, answering her questions and controlling her movements as if she and other parents are monitored 24 hours every day. Jogging she meets Matt with two t’s and he’s an executive for this company and the encounter is odd and leaves her with chills wondering just why he purposely met her during her morning fitness routine. Added in she decided to rekindle her romance with number one novelist Tony Smart, her boyfriend from 20 years ago and here is  where things get tense and dangerous. He is a best seller with Cradle Direct Publishing and night out going to Gus’s Hotdog Shack places them in the crosshairs of Everest.com and in trouble for breaking the rules. They are both Primary Members think nothing of going to this hotdog place and never see what’s about to come their way.

Primary Termination is their fate and the horrific hunt on behalf of the Everest Police will begin inside Tanya’s own Everest AL monitored home and that leads to the mountains and the home of the Everest Resistance and the fate of terminated members as we learn who are no in prisons and incarcerated in and  the massive fulfillment centers used as slaves.
One mishap and Tanya and Tony become dangerous criminals and as they leave the hotdog place, they are now followed and tracked by the Everest Police and a drone that is shooting from above them. Sirens and warnings are heard that they better give themselves up when they realize that the vehicle they are riding in has a tracking device and with manipulation and careful thinking Tony manages to destroy it but where will they go to be safe or is there nowhere they can hide? The answers come fast and the action takes on some interesting gymnastic moves as they go back to her parent’s house, learn that they have been taken and are terminated and the end result is they hope to escape through hidden trap doors but not everything goes as planned and Tanya is captured, wakes up in a lab and what is done is the result of a betrayal and a friend that reported her and Matt with two TT’s gets her along with her friend Kate and what this doctor Porter does to her will convince you never to see a dentist ever again.

Things get tense as she learns that her parents, Tony’s brother and others have now been permanently terminated and their existences no longer exist, and family members are warned never to refer or speak about this person again or risk the same fate.

Just when Tanya things she is next to be terminated something happens and the whole world collapse, guns are drawn, bodies are falling, and she is taken into custody by the people of Drake who are the only competition for Everest. Added in she is now going to be part of the Resistance Group hoping to take down Everest and get back the freedoms they have stolen but can the elude the watchful eye of the AI that is all over? When she and Tony enter the new compound where they will be staying, Gus is there and they learn just where these prisoners have been taken, the fact that the AI is the warden and they reflect on why they allowed their concerns, ideals and everything about them to be known by the AI who appeared to be their best friend, bringing them their favorite books, movies and anything they could wish for not knowing she was recording and creating files on everyone to use against them when necessary. So, if they want to penetrate the prison how can they if her eyes are all over? What about the guards? You won’t believe how they know where the prisoners are and what they are doing? Author Vincent Zandri takes us behind the scenes of an organization that is do deadly, so devious and diabolical as Drake.com hopes to overtake them and undo what has been in place and restore the world the way it was before. Remember movie theaters, books stores, restaurants of your choice, shopping wherever you want and more? Well let’s hope the Resistance wins or things will according to the author get much worse. And they do as they plan how to take out many of the Everest Guards while infiltrating one of their  fulfillment centers to free not only Tanya’s parents but Tony’s brother too. The Drake Search Engine Corporation vs. Everest.com will wage a war that will take down many on both sides but first Gus leads the operation into the fulfillment center and with five minutes allotted they hoped to free her parents and his brother plus taking down as many of the guards as possible. But things do not go as expected and the result brings Tanya to her knees and she must decide which side to belong to: Drake and the resistance or going back to the other side.

Lives were lost and the truth behind the infiltration revealed as Tanya faces another conflict when another past lover comes into her life and her dreams revolve around Ben Stevens and he and Tony can see the sparks fly.

When the final battle is fought and the sides are permanently drawn the war has just begun and the end result is far from over as Tony and Tanya have to face the fact that they are now considered fugitives and the guns are about to be reloaded, the ammunition and power even more powerful as author Vincent Zandri lets readers know that the fate of Tanya, Tony, Ben, Gus and many others are still uncertain as the author pens the next installment of the Tanya Teal Corporate War Chronicles filled with characters that are tough, honest, deceptive, hateful, resourceful and one tough 42 year old Tanya Teal who now knows the true meaning of these words: BEWARE OF THE CORPORATION: But will she follow the rules? Freedom is a basic right and find out what happens when a corporation decides that it will take that basic right and make your life revolve around their profits and their gains while you serve up your needs using only their resources or you too will learn the true meaning of PRIMARY TERMINATION? BREAK THE RULES AT YOUR OWN PERIL!
