At the heart of this mystery/thriller are so valuable tapestries that are historically significant to the Celtic Era. Heirloom tapestries are vital to the history of this time period as jewelry designer Fiona McKay is working on her latest collection of Celtic inspired jewelry. With the research being handled by antiques dealer Rose Flaherty, Fiona is excited to learn what her research has yielded. Her meeting with Rose was set and the time and place established but when Fiona arrives at the designated time what she finds entering her shop u hinges Fiona. The body of Rose is what she encounters and from the moment she calls 911 her entire world would be in turmoil. After dealing with the police Fiona decides to seek out her brother Ryan the Forensic Instincts’ tech wiz. But things get awkward when she realizes he’s not alone and comes face to face with his girlfriend,Claire. Claire is clairvoyant or even more she senses things, emotions, feelings and at times foretells impending danger. The key are the tapestries that are hanging her mother’s home and the other panels in their memory box. Someone wants to know what Rose uncovered and this means Fiona is in danger bringing the entire Forensic Instincts team on board and high level security for her and her parents. 

The author allows readers to get to know the person who orchestrated the murder and then the trashing of her townhouse. Brazen and acting as a fellow mourner this man joins the family and friends for the special memorial at her parent’s home even offer her someplace to stay if she no longer wants to stay with her brother. But Claire is sharp and senses his darkness and even feigns illness just to get a better handle on him. Meanwhile the team of Casey the boss, Marc and Patrick, Claire, Ryan and Casey divide up what needs to be assessed using their computer system named Yoda. 

As Fiona explains the importance of the tapestries and what the papers and photos Rose’s assistant sent her, things get moving but Fiona is determined to cont her research but first Ryan learns just how compromised her computer is. The technology described is quite extensive as the author’s research into Celtic Art. 

Other agencies come into play as M15, the FBI snd a powerful real estate developer who has links to the IRA goes after the FI team. The violence is increased when another murder happens of an employee of the real estate mogul. But learning if the murder and witnessing it unnerves the man realizing his arch nemesis the Cobra is on the hunt for him and now the battle lines are drawn. A former IRA sniper and dangerous killer, these two men won’t stop until whatever Rose uncovered is in their hands. But will they outfox the Forensic Instincts team? What did Claire sense from the tapestries? What did the messages Fiona uncovered mean? 

Learning more about the tapestries and the different panels we realize each one had its own history and story and are related to events in the life of Fiona’s great grandmother. Others to Celtic history and the symbols related to light and dark. 

Claire interacts with two of tapestries and a new awareness arrives as the history behind it brings the past to the present and the secret that is buried and valuable enlightened the group to why Rose might have been 

and the impending dangers to follow. Looking into the past of the real estate mogul reveals some more hidden secrets that might surprise in. 

Bringing in the professor that Rose contacted allows him to enlighten FI about the history behind the tapestries and the Valderfjord Hoard snd the Argadh Hoard which according to hiatus best known for the Argadh chalice a hoard of metal work from the 8th and 9th centuries. 

But someone wants what Fiona’s great grandmother created and with the help of Yoda and teamwork the team realizes where the hoard is buried but will they live to bring it out? Two men each more dangerous than the other face off and then Casey is taken hostage. Final scenes are tense, filled with the unexpected as author Andrea Kane weaves her own tapestry and creates a special pattern that will take readers on a journey along with the FI team going back to Irish roots, historical events, a church New York and the mysterious finding that would change the life of the beholder. But will go home with the hoard? Who killed Rose? What secrets did she take to her death as the team takes on two killers but in the end will they succeed by leaving No Stone Unturned.
