It’s a dangerous world that the Echoes live in even though they have great resources and powers that most would want if we lived in their world. Hattie, Dani and Mary plus Miles face huge adversaries as they come up against the Wardens, and other foe. Hattie is smart, Dani is resourceful, and Mary has many other talents. Dealing with many diplomatic missions Dani just wants to rest and wait for her next mission but her primary foe Colone Houston has other plans. Mains’ civilian and commonwealth forces worked together against the War ends they are genocidal faction of alien Echoes. But Dani and the Houston you might say are arch enemies and a person war and conflict will change it all. A birthday party for her 16-year-old brother turns deadly and horrific when Houston walks in with her men and takes her brother Oliver to become a Commonwealth soldier but her estranged boyfriend Miles comes to terms with Houston and if the find and return General Ramos they will return Oliver or will they? Dani along with her team of Mary and miles and others travels into Warden  territory to find the General. The mission will teak her to many places and she and Roman a warden once again will cross paths but who will win this time
Dani joins with the Brigands to end the war before it gets worse. Fighting with the Wardens is dangerous. Diani places herself indirect fire and dangerous. Houston  is deadly but what happens when they take her brother she would do anything to get him back Miles does not want his son to join the and Mary and Hattie try to keep them all save. Rowan wants to take Dani hour and then things get more tense. Dani and the DNA to wring the warden to them Houston has a plan of her own she wants to use the canals to secure the locks and control anything the Wardens want to send them from Quebec City or Toronto. By holding the locks, they will have limited accessibility to move up or down stream. The canals and locks she hopes will become their death graph. One of her teams Boseman turned on a screen showing markers where all the Commonwealth’s  feels on their board are located. Their   goal is ridding the world of the Wardens and getting them out of Canada and Hattie  is a main link and Houston has gotten to Boston before she got there and now she has caused damage. Thousand has caused regulate in Bangor. Word  has gotten out that her actions speak quickly and now Hattie, and the Bangor and Portland councils supply but the housel were composed of Bangor,  and she needs the commonwealth’s support. . Houston got the advance when Dani winds up in Boston and the fight went the CAN way. General Ramos is the key to what will finally happen to find,  and he is not yet of age and Houston places him in the army camp even though he claims to be not of the right age, Finding  Ramos they learn that he ahs another mission for them before returning. Dani goes after him but miles who she has a history with is not happy with her around and the adventure gets tense.

Taking out Ramos would make Houston the highest-ranking officer and then the challenges would be more for the Commonwealth. Dani made Miles concerned for her wellbeing and Kelsey and Cameron were in danger and Dani hear the first show that the body began to glow blue  and next to the Echo she drove her knife into his side. Fighting get dangerous Brands, she stated, and she might have killed a friend. Rowan and his group were in the crossfire too and Webb and Ceci went down, and they were no gone. CCNA has a sniper  out there and the person was headed for him. Oliver is in Bangor, and he created a way to endear himself with the higher ups and make sure that he and Elise were able to work in different areas and not combat. Ramos comes into play and now they must decide if they can hit Montreal or work with other Commonwealth to make attack day larger and a global attack The Wardens can help each other if they are bombarded with their own fires.

Will they secure Houston? Will the mange to survive? Will they get her for treason? What will the outcome be? Wars are fought and lives are lost, and Wardens and DNA battled and may were lost and a soldiers could not be saved. But Dani faces the hardest loss in her life, but will she survive? Rowan comes after her, but she still strikes until she wins, and Rowan claimed he would take the children of the CAN and place them with good armies not dealing with the way their think they should be gee brought up? What happens during this battle you won’t believe? Which  side wins and will Dani final get Rowan and will the war end? The was might be over but what is the final fate of Houston? What about Oliver and how will the deal with eh destruction and death of someone close to him. The good news is that they make if far and that Hattie, Mary and Dani just might survive. The ending is sad and the final outcomes uncertain for many and yet it finalizes their fates. If this continued it would be interesting to see how the Echoes and Wardens would survive in our timeline and if they could teach our children the true meaning of loyalty, family, friendship, understanding as opposed to betrayal, deception and deceit. A book great for young teens and young adults to learn the true meaning of friendship, freedom and the tragedies of war. The author created a series that everyone of all ages will love filled with turmoil, violence that is not that graphic, suspense and Hattie, Dani and Mary who you will come to love and don’t forget Oliver.
