Security details are tight and yet somehow things turned dangerous when Secretary of State Frank Malone falls prey to kidnappers in Cairo. His entire security detail is killed, and he is left to the devices of the terrorists. How can he be found and what will President Natalie Cohen do to get him back? Times are hard and working with Mary Fleiss  the Director of National Intelligence, she makes a tough call. She has decided to bring back the Presidential Agent Program. The tension is high from the first scene and when they decide to bring back the Presidential agent, Charley Castillo is asked to come out and mento Captain Pl.K. McCoy who is sharp and apprehensive about getting started. Set in Africa and Charley and Pick create a team to go after the terrorist. McCoy is next t in line to become the Presidential Agent and Charley takes the mission but as trainer what will McCoy be able to bring to the mission? A shaky start until we meet all the players on his team but when we meet Ani you can’t help but fall in love with her. The team sets off to bring back the Secretary of Defense and find out where they are holding him and create a plan to free him. Meeting Shaker you might say and the man who will provide security and more they must devise a plan. Added to the team is Ani who wants in, Wardi their contact in Sudan. Castillo’s job as Presidential Agent has the authority to prosecute terrorists and enemies of state who might crimes and acts of violence and treachery against America and her citizen. S kidnapping the Unite States safety of stat and murdering member of his staff and security detail where tit begins. Learning who sent the hit squads after them as they are creating their plans and met obstacles would eventually they hope to take down the person behind the kidnapping and behind the attacks. One person is a terrorist and whether he was motivating by religion or third for power it does not matter.

Meet Irshad Khalil the Minister and meet his staff as he enters the room where the Secretary is being held and tries to learn more about him, bonds with him and pretends to want to help him to freedom. Why didn’t he just get him out when he was there. He visited compounds without a cover story, he went to so many in the north precinct and was concerned about the upcoming election that would be Sudan’s first real democratic election and it was critical that the vote be legitimate. His sister was running for President. The team meets the terrorists head on but not everyone will make it out and they realize that something about Khalil does not ring true after meeting with him. Learning more about him and then getting caught in the fire of the people that were protesting for their rights the tension builds, the obstacles are more, and the death toll will rise but on which side?
Awadiya is the sister of Khalil and she is being blindsided by her borhte4 who she things understand that after the election those in provisional government posts will be filled with new appointments No one on the Sovereignty council nor the prime minister himself is allowed to run for office. This show hopes will present corruption and power grabs during the transition. She states that the last thing Sudan needs is to oust one dictator from  power only to replace him  with an opportunist with similar aspirations.

Then the bullets came flying and they had to think just  as Castillo asked Junior who was looking through the back door into tot office where thy were talking to Awadiya Khalil the sister of Khalil. How would they handle this, and will they get away? Just what was Castillo’s plan and how would each member handle it. Shaker was a powerful member but not everyone will come through this. Safe houses compromised. Shaker in bad shape, McCoy always on spot and the world turns take and blooded and they must get out of Khartoum to find the Secretary because time was running out. Reminding himself that he had to deal with director Fleiss and the President. Madam President is tough and warns some graphic photos or videos that might include bragging about bringing America to her knees by the enemies. Charley had permission to move into some vague area in Sudan to procedure a lead on the Secretary and they would need assets to help them out. Will she allow it? Is she going to le4t the4 Seals operating as part of the  Join special operations Task Force of Djibouti join in? Who else would be called in?

Author’s Andrews and Wilson who have taken on the W.E.B. Presidential Agent series, have created high stakes encounters, dangerous situations that required quick and fast thinking, planning when necessary and outcomes discussed and often allowing the characters to fly by the seat of their pants and hopefully create tension and fear in the enemies. Added in each character presents his/her own strengths weakness and intelligence plus their ability to determine how to take down the enemies. But the ending is striking, and the final scenes will bring someone to his/her knees when the fate of the secretary is revealed but Charley and his team go on one more mission to safe someone else but why? An ending that lets you wonder if Charley is going to remain as the Presidential Agent, is McCoy is going to go back to being a Marine. Read the final paragraph and you decide. Filled with twists, surprises and strong military strategies, outstanding battle scenes this is one series I can’t wait to read what happens next.
