The backdrop are the streets and landmarks of Salem, the characters are uniquely and vividly depicted, emotional changes are realized, and the author shares the knowledge about plans in Wicca. Dealing with police detective Petrov and having to watch her daughter arrested for murder, things got more than out of hand. What did happen between Sarah and Jolene Williams. Who is involved and Lily feels she should have paid more attention to the newspaper articles between Jolene and Ann.? But she thought Ann could handle it. let’s when she learned about the loan and more. For decades she avoided dream walking to protect those she loved but there is not choice how as the author shares her drams and what she encounters this first time in chapter 19 as we all enter Sarah’s thoughts and experience what Lily does.

Frank was a homeless man and much involved with what might have happened to Sarah and his doctor is Tom who feels he needs something to calm him down. Added in we have Merlin, Jolene’s dog that Martin was watching and caring for, but Lily now must deal with his care too. To continue her goal to help her daughter she would have to ask her best friend Honey to help her pull off a burglary to get something that belonged to Jolene. Her goal was to look for Jolene’s grimoire but the opportunity to sneak a peek at her medicine cabinet was too good to pass up and what did she find? When one of the ladies at St. Bridget’s hands something to Lily she uncovers a secret that Kitty wanted her to learn and the truth behind who killed Aunt Olga, Jolene’s aunt comes to light and just who really killed her you won’t believe. Not everyone is who they say they are, and more innocent victims of suicide comes to light as Lily has to once again dream walk and what you witness and who explains the events will take her into the world she swore she wanted to never reenter. Just who killed Jolene, who killed her boyfriend and who is behind the death of some others you won’t believe, and the reason is mind boggling. Added in we learn more about Sarah, her history and why she seems distant from Lily who is her adopted mom. The ending will keep you in suspense as someone decides to take out Ann, the ladies are in danger of being sent somewhere else so will Lily come to her sister’s aid?
Some endings are new beginnings and misunderstandings become realities that might change it all. One flash drive would start events that would spiral until the final showdown and ending occurs as Lily’s lessons in martial arts just might save more than just her. Characters that are unique and well developed and the issues of trust, deceptions, betrayals, family loyalties and hope come into play. What is next for Lily, Ann and Sarah will this ending be the final showdown of her Dream Stalking as a Dream Stalker? Only time will tell of if author Nancy Gardner pens another novel and needs her to continue her quests in other people’s dreams.
