How do you find someone that wants to stay missing? What if the life of this person was in peril and someone was pulling the strings? Kendra Michaels asks Jessie Mercado to assist in a difficult case to find this missing man. As an army veteran and former bodyguard to a young and famous star, she has dealt with dangerous situations and taken down many notorious killers, but this case might test her skills to the limit. Owen Blake is the client that hires Jessie. His company is called Mammertine. They handle all your financial problems, needs and more to ease their client’s journey into prison. They arrange to make sure you are safe when you are there and here is where it gets interesting and leads to why Jessie was hired to find Owen Blake’s partner whose gone missing. Carl Ferris is the missing man and Jessie wants information from Blake about him, his role in the company and his girlfriend. Jessie begins her search for information about Carl Ferris the missing man who she was hired to find and learns that he has a girlfriend named Jennifer Dayton. Meeting with her proves interesting but someone does not want her to give out any more information. She was teaching a lecture and Jessie wanted to get to see her, but she disappeared and that a friend said. Owen Blake does not tell about anything but himself as she learned when meeting with Jennifer for the limited time they had. Things get tense when she learns that Jennifer has been murdered and now must deal with Detective Wheeler. Sharing information with him she tells him about Carl Ferris and that he oversaw handling the needs of those in prison. He might be called a lower class of people and he’s missing. Owen Blake did not single out certain people and could care less about what happens to anyone Prison. Added in Jessie must deal with Jason Brice who shows up out of nowhere and demands time with her. How did he know she was in trouble? She borrowed a phone from a young girl, and he manages to learn where she is and wants to spend time with her and help with the murder case. When the life of her father is threatened because of this case what does she do to warn him, and you won’t believe who show up and comes to the wild rescue. Bonding with Jason does help as he does some work for him, and his father does not mind having him around. He seems to get into everything she does. Owen Blake lived in an upscale community, and she was going to question him about the death of Jennifer Dayton. But rather than show compassion he gets annoyed at her work and puts roadblocks in her way. He only hired her to find Ferris the rest she could care less until she meets Colin Sackler, and the stakes get higher. Meeting him in prison siting at opposite sides of a table she was about to learn more about Mr. Ferris and explain why she is there. Ferris explained to Clear his role. A property management first would keep his property rented, mortgage , property tax an insurance e would e covered until he goes out. Their financial manager should keep his bills current, and he said his firm has  an in-house attorney would keep  hi appeals on track. All fees could be taken care of. How could he do take it. Explaining how he and his friend Gordy enter the property management and  made the president him his car keys when the learned that the safe was empty and no money. But that was just a ruse. Learning about the guard Shane Winston changes the dynamics and what his role is proves that this prison was not safe for some but for Mamertine members protected from harm. Then back to Owen asking if he could cross index his schedule with his security camera or footage.

Inquiring from Burke whether his company ever pay any guards at the jail to run interference with the clients in jail getting harassed? That would be illegal Burek said but who knows he said but why did Sacker say that Winston protected him when he was beaten by another prisoner? Working for One we meet Sienna who tried to cooperate and gave her a folder of files that might help her learn more about Ferris. Then Delilah Winter shows up and bodyguards are all around as she learns that she will make sure she is protected even though she does not want them? Finding Carl Ferris’s house would enlighten them ever more finding Detective Wheeler there too.

As Wheeler shared evidence he showed Jessie something that he was going to send to the lab. But someone had decided to deal with her himself and she never saw it coming. Someone put a substance in her helmet that would take her down and she wound up in the hospital but who and why? But Dee would not let her go unguarded and between her and Jason Dee through four huge guards to take over and make sure she is safe. Would she be safe, and she wanted to meet with Shane Winston at the prison and learn more about his role dealing with Carl Ferris? Then to have Jason around he needed a transformation because of who he is and what he does. He is easily recognized. Owen Burke is a dangerous and devious man, and each time Jessie asks for information and help he stonewalls her. She wants his files, wants to know what Winston the guard’s role is and then where is Ferris? It gets even trickier when we learn more about the company that Sackler and his friend robbed and the real reason behind it. Meeting with Gordon Laney’s wife they understand why she is concerned and wants Sackler brought to justice and i.e., sounds like Sackler ran the operation. Just what does she reveal? Her husband is deal and Sackler is alive, and he had high priced lawyers running the show. We learn who is running this how as Jessie meets with Sackler once again in the prison and how learns he is about to be moved to another one will he live? Tehachapi is next stop, but will he get there? One World Capital Management is where this robbery took place, and they question them hoping to learn more about Mamertine and their link and Their manager. Detectives HWeeter meet with he and he knows about her and Kendra when another person joins the group. Needing help to survive someone she meets tied to  someone named Larry and he can get images of what she needed and more.

Meet Natalie the woman behind what is going to happen and who hired Burke to make sure he finds Ferris but never allow Jessie near him but why? Owen lies and omits information, so Jessie must pay same game. No mention of going to the investment company or the A/V lab. Brice is always on hand and then they go to Olympic Automatic to the garage to hope and find Ferris’s car. But is it his and then Paul Moran the manager of the management company is found dead? Then Sackler is about to be moved you won’t believe what happens and who might be behind his escape and why. Jessie winds up ab the prison and Colin Saclher is going and the two guards that were supposed to transport will they be able to fill the spaces for her? Then Peter who she though he did not need finds something that might break it all opened . Did Ferris orchestrate the escape plan and he offered to marry Jessica for her to not testify against him. Now the US Marshalls were involved, and it gets wild and interesting.

An address might change it all and they finally found the SUV, and will they find Ferris? Marshall Patton joins the group but there is something odd about him and he seems bent on getting to know more about Jessie and what she is doing to find Ferris. Meet the  CEO of Gauntlet Industries Natalie Durand and the conversation gets interesting, and she claims that lately they are concentrating on more to life areas around the world. Engaging the services of Mamertine she spends time with Carl Ferris and then he disappeared. Author Roy Johansen allows Natalie to share the past for her company how she founded it and more it. Colin Sackler worked for her company and things are about to get more dangerous for Jessie but not before Kendra shows up.

Developments point in many directions, and she is now part of the group working with LAPD and the US Marshalls service agents but what is the truth behind what is happening and why? Kendra and Jessie team up and Jason seems to be in the mix as the final scenes are explosive, tension filled and we learn the hidden truth about why someone is following Jessie’s father, whey he needs four bodyguards, how they will come into play later and how Jessie gets kidnapped along with Sackler as she enters Ferris’s highway. Where is Jessie and will Kendra and Jason find her before someone close to the investigation takes her out permanently. Who is pulling the strings and what is the mayor’s role? What exactly will the result be if they win? What exactly does Ferris say is the KILLER VIEW? Characters that are strong, fierce and two women that are relentless who can handle it on their own, but Jason Brice is an integral part of Jessie’s life. It started with the first scene when she enters a yacht and hopes to get the children there home to their mother and arrests the father/ The last page lets you know that there is much more in store for her.
